My queer identity is important to me, and it's important to reflect it in my business. LGBTQ+ and straight people alike have been incredibly supportive of my baking and my business, and it's important I give back as much as I can.
That's why from now on, 10% from the sales of all my monthly brownie boxes will be donated to Gendered Intelligence.
In the face of hate stirred up from governments, politicians and media towards trans people - to distract from their failed policies and corruption - Gendered Intelligence provide education, awareness and engage with policymakers to help trans people live with the peace and dignity they deserve.
Trans people need support now more than ever.
Some say business and politics shouldn't mix, but running a small business and being gay is inherently political when you have big businesses lobbying governments and funding movements to take the rights of minorities away.
